Wenzel UK is proud to offer our customers the following range of services. Our key goal is to build long term and personal relationships with our customers such that we can tailor our service responses to our customers’ exact needs. All of our services are backed up by WOS cover (Wenzel Online Service) – telephone and internet support for diagnosis and programming support.
Service Contracts
We offer tailored contracts including CMM calibration, preventative maintenance, spare parts and reactionary support. Wenzel CMM’s, and any other machines retrofitted to Wenzel controller and software, are calibrated to ISO10360 (or VDI/VDE 2617 for larger machines) using programs and routines developed by our ISO17025 accredited laboratory in Wenzel Germany.
Training
Training courses for the full range of Metromec, OpenDMIS, DesCAD and Metrotek (gear) programs can be booked at our premises in Gloucester, at Apex Metrology in Scotland or at our customers’ premises. Delegates can be booked on standard courses at excellent rates and customer-specific courses can also be arranged.
Subcontract Measurement
Measurement of difficult or over-capacity components can be undertaken at our premises in Gloucester. Parts up to 2m by 1m by 1m can be accommodated, with full text and/or graphical reports being provided. We also have tested lifting gear to load large and heavy parts.
Software Upgrades
Software updates can be provided at very reasonable prices such that customers can benefit from new functionality and improvements. Training can also be provided for new software versions.
Retrofits
We offer a range of software only retrofits to a number of 3rd party machines and flexible arms (e.g. Zeiss, DEA LK, Mora, Romer, Faro, Garda & Leica) as well as controller and software retrofits to almost any brand of CMM. Once retrofitted, customers’ CMM’s can benefit from Wenzel service and calibration support and WOS cover. Metromec can also act as an I++ client or server offering full flexibility for users. We can also provide the full range of Renishaw probe heads tool changers and probing to retrofit to your existing CMM.
Accessories and Turnkey Supply
We can provide next day support and competitive pricing for the full range of Renishaw probes and styli and flexible or dedicated fixturing for components. We can also provide a full turnkey supply with a new or existing CMM including air-conditioned CMM rooms, pallet systems, foundations, cranes, delivery, offloading, compressed air systems or anything else our customers need.
