R - Series

Our R series of roller bearing, horizontal arm CMM’s provides excellent price performance ratio and flexible application. The series is characterised by the easy handling, high robustness and is suitable for sheet-metal, trim, plastics and full Body-in-White (BIW) applications.

RSplus (and RSDplus the double arm version) are side mounted to a cast iron plate, making for very easy installation and loading of easier to handle parts and fixtures.

RAF machines utilse the same arm design as RSplus but are mounted on either a cast iron or polymer concrete base. RAF can be mounted on top of the factory or flush with it. With the polymer concrete base almost any X-axis stroke can be provided.

RAD machines also untilise the same arm design as RSplus and are mounted on cast iron plates, which are normally installed flush with the factory floor to facilitate easy loading or large fixtures or full car bodies.

RAFplus and RADplus utilise a more robust, higher performance and more accurate column design and a higher performance controller to provide the ultimate dynamic and accuracy performance for measuring of large parts and car bodies.

All R series machines use a carbon fibre quill for decreased weight (less column droop) and higher stiffness. All R machines can be equipped with Renishaw PH10 or PHS probe heads and the Wenzel Phoenix Optical sensor for even higher productivity.

All models are available in standard and premium accuracy configurations.
