Following the acquisition of Steintek GmbH Wenzel Group has now launched the mobile CNC Measurement System, MobileScan3D®
This expansion into the portable metrology market, compliments then new products on offer from Wenzel Group in relation to non contact measurement and reverse engineering scanning systems.
The MobileScan3D® offers a fully automated or semi-automated process for production or single measurements. Reliable accuracy using high precision encoders and a repeatability of better than 5µm is available. A rotary table is available as an option to allow true portable metrology and analysis. Software controls the laser power and sensitivity and can be used on nearly any material or colour, or in any lighting condition. A measuring range of 100 mm to 1500 mm is available.
MobileScan3D® is a reliable and effective solution for first article prototypes as well as inspection to CAD data.
The system comes complete with Geomagic® software to provide full analysis of scanned data.
