Turbocam Europe measures up with Wenzel UK.
Following the purchase of Wenzel CMM’s fitted with Renishaw Revo in the United States, Turbocam Europe located in Fareham Hampshire, has now purchased two Wenzel CMM’s for their UK plant, with a further purchase planned for their plant in Eastern Europe.
Turbocam are a globally based manufacturer of high quality Aerospace, Automotive & Marine turbomachinery components. Bases in seven countries worldwide, Turbocam have an enviable reputation of achieving excellence in the manufacturing of turbomachinery parts by 5-axis machining and related technologies and satisfying the needs of our customers for Quality, Price, Delivery and Service.
Software compatibility coupled to the Wenzel high precision CMM has been a key purchasing factor for Turbocam. They have purchased a Wenzel LH87 CMM along with a Wenzel Smart CMM both delivered with Open DMIS software that will enable the compatibility Turbocam require between here and the US.
The Wenzel commitment to customer service and innovation was also paramount to support Turbocam, not only today in the introduction of these new CMM machines but also in the future when the new Renishaw Revo technology is required. Revo can be installed and with the help of Wenzel and Renishaw fully integrate this into the Turbocam production and metrology processes.
